Bluesla Fest

a 4 day Blues dance festival in Ankara, Turkey

The first Blues dance festival ever to be organized in Turkey is now preparing for its fourth edition! This is a festival based not only on dancing and taking classes but also on providing a space for creative community members. This festival is rooted in Black American roots of Blues dancing and values the community and all its contributors including but not limited to teachers, dancers, musicians, creatives, local members of the scene with an emphasis on the locality by bringing the authentic Ankara urban experience into the picture. In the previous editions the festival became a space for second hand exchange, make-up, cocktail workshops, jam sessions, and culture talks to emphasize the interconnectedness of community members and invites everyone to be a part of this community.
