1. Types of Events Allowed:

   Swing Calendar allows three types of events: Festivals, Workshops, and Parties.

   • Festivals are events with a minimum duration of 3 days, featuring classes, workshops, and parties.
   • Workshops last at least one full day but no more than three days, focusing on classes with optional parties or socials.
   • Parties are single-day events, primarily for social dancing, with limited or no classes (except for tasters or crash courses).
2. Event Information Accuracy:

   Event organizers must provide accurate and truthful information including Date, Time, Description, Event Type, Location, Lineup and tagged artists, to offer relevant information to users.

3. Event Submission and Review Process:

   Only users with an Organizer Profile can create events. New organizers' event submissions will undergo review by the Swing Calendar team, following these guidelines. Approved events will be immediately published. Regular organizers may gain direct event publishing rights, subject to ongoing moderation.
4. Content Rejection Criteria:

   Swing Calendar focuses exclusively on Swing Dance-related events. Content that does not align with this focus will be rejected.

   • No NSFW imagery is allowed in event details.
   • Events unrelated to Swing Dance or Burlesque shows without a clear link to Swing Dance culture will be rejected.
   • Events must comply with local laws, copyright regulations, and ethical guidelines. Hate speech or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
   • Links provided in events must direct users to corresponding websites for ticket purchases or external event descriptions.
5. Event Review and Auto-Publishing Rights:

   Events are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Organizers following the guidelines consistently will be granted auto-publishing rights in good faith. This privilege can be revoked at any time, with sporadic checks by website moderators.
6. User Feedback and Suggestions:

   We welcome user suggestions to enhance the quality of the user experience and the information provided on the website. Please feel free to share your ideas with us.
7. Penalties for Violations:

   Repeat violations of these guidelines may result in the loss of auto-publishing rights, temporary suspension of the account, or a permanent ban of the user account.
