WHAT IS PLEX History of PLEX First hosted in Saskatoon, PLEX has roamed all over the prairies and has landed not only in Saskatoon, but in Winnipeg, Minneapolis, Calgary and Edmonton as well. From its beginnings, PLEX has been a social, community building event built to bring the prairie dance scenes closer together through cross-scene support, and longlasting friendships. From it's inception in 2005 to 2008 PLEX was a bi-annual event occuring in March and August. As, the individual scenes started to flourish in 2009, PLEX switched to an annual event occurring in March. Although PLEX was initiated to bring prairie swing dancers together this grass roots lindy exchange attracts attendees from across Canada and the Mid-West United States.
