Master your Basic Balboa Workshop

A 4-hour Balboa workshop for beginners and experienced dancers, focused on technique, connection and flow – so your basics don’t just work, but feel good.

After this workshop, your Balboa basics should not only feel clearer, but above all better. Over four hours, we’ll take a deep dive into the technique behind them and explore how leading and following work within the different basics. We’ll cover: * Single & Halftime Basic Rhythms * Swinging and Non-Swinging Uphold & Downhold Basics * Ad-libs in the Uphold Basic * Differences in leading, following and geography * Smooth transitions between the basics * Come-Around The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as experienced Balboa dancers who want to refine their technique, connection and flow. We include dedicated practice phases so you can repeat, explore and ask questions along the way. Partners are rotated regularly. After the workshop, there will be a Swing dance event from 7:00–10:00 pm.
