Elephant Swing

Elephant Swing grew out of our own experience in the swing dance scene. We have been dancing Lindy Hop, Balboa and Blues since 2013 and built up the local swing dance community in Traunstein over several years. Today, we teach Balboa workshops in Salzburg with a strong focus on solid basics and technique. Our workshops are especially for dancers who don’t have access to weekly classes or who often find the level of regular festivals too advanced or simply want to fill the gaps. We also include plenty of dedicated practice time during our workshops, so there is space to repeat, explore and really take in as much as possible. We take time to work on rhythm, connection, leading and following technique, geography and the technical details behind the most important moves. The aim is not to learn as many figures as possible, but to build a strong foundation so Balboa feels clear, smooth and natural.
